RENT AGREEMENT
This Rent Agreement is made at City on 29/09/2026 between:
Gopal Das Agarwal, son/daughter of Late Shri Hari Das, residing at House no., street, area, city (hereinafter called the LANDLORD), of the one part;
AND
Ramesh Kumar Sharma, son/daughter of Mohan Lal Sharma, permanently residing at Village / town, district (hereinafter called the TENANT), of the other part.
The Landlord is the owner of First floor, 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom at house no., street, city (hereinafter called the PREMISES), and has agreed to let it to the Tenant on the following terms:
- The tenancy is for 11 months starting from 29/09/2026, and may be renewed by mutual consent in writing, with a rent increase of 10%.
- The monthly rent is ₹8,000, payable in advance on or before the 5th day of each month.
- The Tenant has paid a security deposit of ₹16,000, which carries no interest and will be refunded when the Premises are vacated, after deducting any dues or damage.
- Electricity and water charges as per meter readings shall be paid by the Tenant.
- The Premises shall be used for residential purposes only. The Tenant shall not sublet any part of them or make structural changes without the Landlord's written consent.
- The Tenant shall keep the Premises clean and in good condition, and allow the Landlord to inspect them at a reasonable time with prior notice.
- Either party may end this agreement by giving 1 month(s) notice in writing.
- The Tenant shall hand over vacant and peaceful possession of the Premises on the expiry or termination of this agreement.
