This tool reads the PDF's actual text and metadata and checks it against real patterns for emails, phone numbers, PAN, GSTIN, bank IFSC codes, card numbers (verified with the same checksum card issuers use, so an ordinary invoice number isn't mistaken for one), and more - then lets you black out exactly what you confirm, for real.

Frequently asked questions
Does this tool store or send my personal data anywhere?
No - the real values it finds are used only in memory, for the length of your own request, to show you a masked preview and (if you choose) to redact them. They are never written to a database or a log file, and the full value is never sent back to your browser - only a masked preview like "jo••••@example.com".
Will it flag things that aren't actually personal, like an order number?
It's built to avoid that where it reasonably can - for example, a card-like number only counts as a finding if it actually passes the same checksum test card issuers use, so a random 16-digit invoice or order number isn't flagged as a card.
Is scanning my PDF free?
Yes - checking a PDF for exposed personal data costs nothing and needs no account. Only downloading the file with the confirmed findings actually redacted is charged, and your first fix on this site is free.
