1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your plain-text password). When you make a purchase, Razorpay processes your payment directly — LoveByPDF never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details, only the resulting transaction ID and amount. When you convert a file, we temporarily store the PDF you upload and the Word document we generate, along with basic metadata (page count, file name, timestamp) needed to run and display your conversion history.
2. How long we keep your files
Uploaded PDFs and converted Word/PDF documents are automatically deleted from our servers within 15 minutes. We don't manually inspect, share, or use your uploaded content for any purpose other than performing the conversion you requested.
3. Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. If ads are enabled on the site (see our Ads section below), the ad network we use may set its own cookies and process your IP address to show and measure ads — see their own privacy policy for details.
3a. Advertising
We may show ads, served by a third-party ad network, to visitors and to signed-in accounts with no credits and no active subscription. Accounts with credits or an active unlimited plan are not shown ads, apart from any specific tool we have flagged as ad-supported for everyone, which will be stated on that tool’s own page. We do not show ads on payment, sign-in or document-signing pages. Ads help keep the free tools running.
4. Third parties we rely on
We use the following services to run LoveByPDF, each with their own privacy practices: Razorpay (payment processing), our email provider (account verification emails), and, if enabled, Google reCAPTCHA (bot protection on signup/login, which may set its own cookie and process your IP address per Google's privacy policy).
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your account data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by contacting [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we're legally required to retain (e.g. transaction records for tax purposes).
6. Security
Passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text), payment card data never touches our servers, and file storage is access-restricted with automatic expiry. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions.
7. Children's privacy
LoveByPDF isn't directed at children and isn't knowingly used to collect data from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
