How to use this tool
- Choose Direct merge or Swap pages from the mode dropdown, then add up to 6 PDFs (drop them together or one at a time).
- Direct merge: reorder files with the arrows, drag pages around, remove any you don't want. Swap pages: the first file is your base - pick pages from the other files and drop them onto a + gap or a page to replace it.
- Click the eye icon on any page to preview it at full size and zoom in on details, then download the result for 1 credit - nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Every PDF is read and combined entirely in your own browser - none of them ever reaches this site's servers. Composing is free; only the finished download spends a credit.
How many PDFs can I combine?
Up to 6 PDFs at once in either mode, each up to 200 pages.
What's the difference between Direct merge and Swap pages?
Direct merge simply joins all the files in order (you can still rearrange or drop pages). Swap pages treats the first file as the base document and lets you replace or insert pages from the others.
Can I reuse the same edit on similar files later?
Yes - in Swap mode, save your selections as a recipe and apply it again the next time you have a similar set of files.

Replace one page, insert a missing page or rearrange a PDF without opening heavy software. Merge & Swap PDF shows every page as a thumbnail so you can replace pages in a PDF with pages from another file, collect them in a tray and download the corrected document.

Choose Swap pages and add your PDF
In the box at the top choose Swap pages - replace / insert pages from other PDFs, then drop your main PDF on the upload area.

All pages appear as large thumbnails. Click the pages you want to replace, move or remove - the page count above updates as you work.

Common problems & fixes
- A page lands in the wrong place
- Press Undo (the arrow button) and drag it again; every move can be undone.
- I cannot see my second PDF
- Check that + Add PDF finished loading - the file name appears as a tab above the pages.
- The result has too many pages
- Select the extra pages in the main row and remove them before downloading.

Can I insert a page between two pages?
Yes. Drop the page from the tray between any two thumbnails.
Does swapping pages change my file quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so the layout and text stay exactly the same.
Is there a page limit?
Up to 6 PDFs can be open at once; very long files may take a few extra seconds to show their previews.
