1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using LoveByPDF ("the Service", operated by LoveByPDF, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What LoveByPDF does
LoveByPDF is a set of online tools for working with PDFs and document images: converting, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating and editing them, reading scanned pages with optical character recognition (OCR), AI-assisted summarising and extraction, sending a document out to someone else for signature, and preparing photos and signatures to the sizes Indian exam and government forms ask for.
Some tools run on our servers — you upload a file, we process it, you download the result. Others run entirely inside your own browser, and your file is never sent to us at all. Each tool's page says which kind it is, and the browser-based ones say so prominently, because for documents like an Aadhaar PDF that difference is the whole point.
3. Accounts
You need a verified email account to use the Service beyond browsing the marketing pages and any tools an administrator has made available without sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Free daily usage is tied to your verified account and is not intended to be circumvented via multiple accounts, disposable emails, or automated signups.
4. Credits and payments
Use beyond the free tier consumes credits, purchased in packs via Razorpay. The credit cost of each tool is shown on the Pricing page and on the tool itself at the time of use, and depends on the tool (and, for some, on document length or the number of recipients). Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and may change; changes don't affect credits already purchased. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how refunds are handled.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LoveByPDF to process content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to upload. You agree not to attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service's rate limits, credit system, or CAPTCHA protections.
6. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload and the documents we generate for you. We only use your uploaded files to perform the requested task; see our Privacy Policy for how long files are retained and how they're deleted. Files handled by the browser-based tools are never uploaded at all, so there is nothing for us to retain.
7. Our code, tools and content
Everything that makes up LoveByPDF is our intellectual property, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable law: the source code (both what runs on our servers and the JavaScript your browser downloads in order to run our browser-based tools), the design and workflow of each tool, the exam and form presets we research and keep up to date, the site text, blog articles and layout, and the LoveByPDF name and logo.
Several of our tools run entirely inside your browser — that is precisely what allows your file never to leave your device — and making that possible requires sending you the code that does the work. Being able to read that code does not make it free to take. You are licensed to run it in your browser for the purpose of using the Service, and for nothing else. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, or incorporate any part of it into another product or service, whether in whole, in part, or in a modified, rewritten, or machine-generated derivative form, and whether done by hand or with automated or AI-assisted tools.
You also may not scrape or bulk-download the Service, access it by automated means outside a normal browser session, or remove or obscure any copyright notice in the code or on the site.
None of this is aimed at anyone reading our code out of curiosity or to learn from it, and nothing here takes away rights you have under the law. If you would like to license any part of this properly, please write to us.
8. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we aren't liable for losses arising from downtime, processing errors, or OCR inaccuracies on low-quality scans. If a task fails after credits are charged, those credits are automatically returned to your account.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoveByPDF is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bikaner, Rajasthan having jurisdiction.
