Terms and conditions

  1. Commencement: your appointment takes effect from 29/09/2026 and your employee code is EMP-2291.
  2. Probation and confirmation: you will be on probation for 6 months, which the company may extend. You will be deemed to continue on probation until confirmed in writing.
  3. Part-time hours: you will work 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday (20 hours a week). Your pay and paid leave are pro-rata to these hours, and statutory benefits apply as per law.
  4. Remuneration: your annual Cost to Company is ₹1,80,000 (Rupees One Lakh Eighty Thousand only), as detailed in Annexure A. In line with the Code on Wages, 2019, your basic pay and dearness allowance together form at least 50% of your total remuneration and are the "wages" used for PF, gratuity, bonus and leave encashment (if allowances ever exceed 50%, the excess is added to wages). Salary is paid monthly by bank transfer by the 7th of the following month, after statutory deductions.
  5. Social security: you will be covered by the Employees' Provident Fund, gratuity and statutory bonus, as applicable under the Code on Social Security, 2020 and the Code on Wages, 2019.
  6. Leave and holidays: Earned leave 1 day for every 20 days worked, 7 casual and 7 sick leaves a year. Earned leave becomes available after 180 days of work in a calendar year. National and festival holidays are as per the company's holiday list and the applicable state law.
  7. Confidentiality and intellectual property: you will not disclose any confidential information - recipes, processes, pricing, customer or employee data - during or after your employment. Everything you create in the course of your work belongs to the company.
  8. Conduct: you will follow the company's certified standing orders / service rules, code of conduct, prevention of sexual harassment (POSH) policy and IT & data-security policy, as amended from time to time.
  9. Grievances: any grievance may be raised with your reporting manager, HR, or the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under the Industrial Relations Code, 2020.
  10. Separation: after confirmation, either side may end the employment with 30 days written notice or wages in lieu of notice; during probation the notice is as per the company's policy. The company may terminate without notice for proven misconduct after due inquiry. Wages due on separation are paid within two working days, and the full and final settlement as per law.
  11. Declarations: this appointment is based on the information and documents you have given. If any of it is found to be false, the appointment may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
  12. Jurisdiction: this letter is governed by Indian law, and any dispute is subject to the courts at City, state.
