ROOMMATE AGREEMENT

This agreement is made on 05/10/2026 between Priya Sharma and Neha Kapoor (the ROOMMATES), who share the home at ____________.

1. Rent and bills
Total rent is 1,800 per month from 05/10/2026. Split: Rent split equally

2. Deposit
A shared security deposit is held by the lead tenant and is returned to each roommate according to their contribution after deductions for damage they caused.

3. Chores
The roommates share cleaning of common areas on a rotating weekly basis. Each roommate cleans up after themselves in the kitchen on the same day.

4. Guests
Overnight guests are allowed up to three nights a week; longer stays need every roommate's consent.

5. Quiet hours
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am on weekdays and 11 pm to 8 am on weekends.

6. Leaving
A roommate who wants to leave gives 30 days' written notice and helps find a suitable replacement, who must be approved by the others and the landlord.

7. Disputes
The roommates shall first talk to resolve a disagreement and, if needed, use a neutral mediator before any other step.
