I am writing under the Practice Direction on Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols.

The facts: ____________

I claim 1,850.00, plus statutory interest under section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 and my court fees. Enclosed are copies of the documents on which I rely.

Please pay 1,850.00 to me within 14 days of the date of this letter, or send me a written response that says whether you accept the claim, and, if you dispute it, why and what documents support your position.

If I do not hear from you, I will start a claim in the county court (for example through Money Claim Online) without further notice, and ask the court to order you to pay my costs and interest. The court may take into account your failure to respond when it decides costs.
