Exam Photo & Signature Resizer

Resize your photo and signature to the exact pixel size and KB limit a government exam form demands - SSC, IBPS, RRB, UPSC, state PSC and more, each with its own saved preset.

Your file never leaves your device

This tool runs entirely inside your own browser. Your file is not uploaded, not stored, and never reaches our servers. It is not a policy we promise to follow; there is simply no upload step in this tool at all. The one thing sent is a short note that you used the tool, for your own history.

Pick your exam, not a set of numbers

Every commission publishes its own photo and signature rules — SSC wants one thing, IBPS another, RRB another again — and a file that's a kilobyte over or a few pixels off gets refused at upload. Choose your exam below and this fills in the size, the dimensions and the format for you, then produces a file that lands inside the range rather than just under the ceiling.

Free — unlimited use, no credits needed, no account needed.

Common questions

My exam isn't in the list.

Use "Generic government form" — it produces the shape most portals accept. If you tell us the exam and its published rule via the contact page, we'll add it as a preset so the next person doesn't have to guess.

The form wants 20–50 KB. Why does that matter?

Because portals check both ends. A very clean scan can compress to 8 KB, which looks fine to you and is rejected by the form for being under the minimum. When a preset has a lower bound, this tool guarantees the file lands inside the range — padding the file if it comes out too small, without touching a single pixel of the picture.

Will it crop my face oddly?

Photos are fitted to the required shape from the centre, which is right for a normal head-and-shoulders photo. If your original is a full-length or badly off-centre picture, crop it roughly square yourself first and then run it through here.

Are these numbers guaranteed correct?

No — and no tool can honestly promise that. Commissions change these rules between cycles and sometimes between posts in the same cycle. Every preset shows where its numbers came from, and your exam's own notification is always the authority. Check it takes ten seconds and saves a rejected form.
