What happens to the signed document afterward?

Unlike a plain conversion (auto-deleted quickly), a completed signature request's file is kept so you can come back and download the fully signed PDF whenever you need it.

How to send a document for e-signature online – step by step

Getting a document signed usually means printing, signing by hand and scanning it back. With E-Signature Requests you upload the PDF, add up to 10 signers by e-mail and send. Each person opens a private link and signs on any device - they need no account - and the completed PDF comes back to you.

  1. Start a signature request

    Open the E-Signature Requests page and press Send a document for signature. You need a free account; the people who sign do not.

    Drop your PDF on the upload box, then type a clear title such as Rental agreement - Park Street flat. The signers will see this title.

    A cost box shows what the request will use, based on the number of signers; your first request with one signer is free. Check it before you continue.

Ask them to check spam, then resend the request from your dashboard.
I do not have enough credits

I added the wrong signer
Cancel the request from your dashboard and send a new one with the right e-mail.
The signing link has expired
Each request is open for a limited time. Send a new request.
