Crop & Resize PDF

Crop every page from all four sides, rotate or straighten it, and resize all pages to A4, Letter or any size - text stays sharp, nothing is uploaded.

Your file never leaves your device

This tool runs entirely inside your own browser. Your file is not uploaded, not stored, and never reaches our servers. It is not a policy we promise to follow; there is simply no upload step in this tool at all. The one thing sent is a short note that you used the tool, for your own history.

Every page, its own crop

Drag the edges or corners of the box on each page to cut white margins, scanner borders or anything you don't want - from the top, bottom, left and right separately. Turn a sideways page, straighten a crooked scan, then make every page A4 (or any size) in one go.

Common questions

Can I crop each page differently?

Yes. Every page keeps its own crop box and rotation. Click a page on the left, set its crop, then go to the next one. To use the same crop on many pages, set it once and press All pages, Odd pages or Even pages.

Will cropping make my text blurry or turn it into an image?

No. Pages are never turned into pictures - the text stays sharp, selectable and searchable. If you keep the cropped size and don't straighten the page, the page is not even redrawn: only its visible area changes, so links and form fields keep working too.

How do I make every page A4?

Pick A4 under "Resize every page". "Fit inside" keeps the proportions and adds white space where needed; "Fill the page" fills it edge to edge and trims what does not fit; "Stretch" fills it exactly. Add a white margin if the pages will be printed.

My scan is a little crooked. Can I fix it?

Yes - use the Straighten slider (up to 45° either way, in half-degree steps), then crop away the white corners that appear.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The whole tool runs in your browser; your PDF never reaches our server. A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first with Remove PDF Password.

Quick tips

  • For book scans, crop one odd and one even page and copy each to Odd pages and Even pages.
  • Keep the cropped size and leave Straighten at 0° for the lightest file - pages are not redrawn at all.
  • Add a 5-10 mm white margin when the pages will be printed, so nothing is cut by the printer.
  • Auto-crop every page is the fastest way to clean up a whole scanned file.

Common problems & fixes

Auto-crop cut too much
Auto-crop looks for anything darker than paper. Drag the edge back out, or press Reset crop and crop by hand.
The page looks small inside A4
Choose Fill the page instead of Fit inside, or crop the page tighter first.
It says the PDF is password-protected
Remove the password first with Remove PDF Password, then open the unlocked file here.
Corners turned white after straightening
That is the empty area the turn reveals - crop a little more from each side to remove it.
