Splitting a PDF breaks one file into smaller ones - every page as its own file, or grouped by the page ranges you choose. Useful for pulling a single chapter, invoice, or exhibit out of a much larger document without re-scanning anything.
How to use this tool
- Upload the PDF you want to split - every page appears as a preview.
- Pick PDF A, click the pages that belong in it, then PDF B, PDF C and so on (or use page ranges / every page).
- Delete any page you don't want with the x button, then download PDF_A.pdf, PDF_B.pdf... as a .zip.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose exactly which pages go into which PDF?
Yes. Every page is shown as a preview. Select PDF A and click its pages, then PDF B, PDF C and so on - each becomes its own file. You can also delete pages you don't want from every output.
Can I split by specific page ranges instead of every single page?
Yes - you can choose page ranges (e.g. pages 1-5, 6-10) rather than splitting into one file per page.

Every page is shown as a thumbnail with its number. The Split mode box above chooses how to cut: custom PDFs, one file per page, page ranges, selected pages or a maximum size.

Build your new PDFs
In the default mode use Quick fill: type how many pages each new PDF should hold, for example 2, and press Fill. PDF A, PDF B and PDF C are created and the summary shows exactly which pages are in each one. If something is off, change the number and fill again, or drag a page to another PDF.
