How to rotate PDF pages online for free – step by step
Scanned a document upside down? Rotate PDF lets you rotate PDF pages online - all pages at once or one page at a time - and save the PDF permanently. It is free, needs no software and keeps your text sharp.

Drag the PDF onto the upload box or press Browse File.

Each page appears as a preview with its own rotate buttons, so you can immediately see which ones are sideways or upside down.
Step 2: See every page -
Rotate the pages
Press Rotate all right or Rotate all left to turn every page, or use the small arrows under a single page to turn just that one. The label under each page shows the turn.

Press Run
When the previews look right, press the orange Run button.

Quick tips
- Turn only the pages that need it - the others stay untouched.
- Rotating is free and unlimited, so try again if you chose the wrong direction.
- Use Reset to return all pages to their original angle.
Common problems & fixes
- Only some pages should turn
- Use the arrow buttons under each page instead of the Rotate all buttons.
- The preview does not load
- Very large or damaged PDFs can take a moment - wait a few seconds, or try PDF Doctor to check the file.
- The file still opens sideways in my viewer
- Download the new file again and open it - the page rotation is saved inside the PDF.
